Though I’m pretty much into all things “otaku,” dolls were one of those things that crossed a “line,” so to speak, of how far into otakudom I’d feel comfortable going. They kinda creeped me out. Like, I’ve seen things, man… Terrible things… That’s what happens when you wander into that part of the Internet, I’m afraid. XD
But this one. This one. Damn. I legitimately wouldn’t mind having and displaying this. The awesome quality, the intriguing, mysterious expression, the pose, the outfit, the everything, just… Man, this is beautiful. What a lovely piece of art. I envy her owner. I envy even more the people who can create such things. What craftsmanship. What an acute eye for detail. What a great example of how to make a really cool and interesting doll, worthy of public display, and not some objectifying, creepy fetish thing.
I salute thee, doll maker. You’ve shown me the light. I have a newfound respect of your trade. Keep up the good work. (`･ω･´)ゞ
